Greater is He

IMG_0242Day two started this morning… And needless to say, it is HOT! But despite the heat, God is good! He is so very good! Jesus is enough, and Jesus has paid our price in full! He is the only way… There is no other way to the Father. Praise God for the work that Christ accomplished on the cross – a place where holy wrath and glorious grace met!

This week we are singing a new song, “Greater is He”. I want to introduce you to it…

Here are the lyrics:

Verse 1:

Death cannot conquer me, or stand against my family

And though the may be an enemy, greater is He that is in me

The weight of sin is my disease, but Jesus bore the stripes for me

And though there may be suffering, greater is He that is in me

Chorus:

Greater is He, Greater is He, the Lamb has overcome

Greater is He, Greater is He, the victory is won

It’s finished, it’s done, God’s only Son has conquered the enemy

Greater is He, greater is He that is in me

Verse 2:

His blood was shed on Calvary, the price He paid to ransom me

And now the grave has lost it’s sting, greater is He that is in me

Bridge:

No longer defeated for the power of Jesus, has risen, has conquered now living in me

No longer defeated for the power of Jesus, has risen, has conquered now living in me

No longer defeated for the power of Jesus, has risen, has conquered now living in me

Beautiful lyrics straight from the Word! I hope that you will take some time over the next few days and listen to this song, and see and be reminded that Christ, the one who defeated death and sin, is truly living inside of us! Know His Gospel, know His Word, and know Him!
